So I finally ordered ribbon for Saint's bows and Halloween ribbon and I'm loving how they're coming out!!

Saturday Oct 10 Don went to the LSU game with a few friends, so we planned on going to the pumpkin patch, but since there was rain in the forecast I settled for the Aquarium! Due to my lovely hangover from the night before we got a late start, but it worked out great!
Cheyenne LOVED it! She loves fish and things that "schwim in war war". She has told everyone from her teachers, to dance teachers, and even people we see in stores that she went to see "fish schwim in war war". haha
She really wasn't in the pictures posing for mood!
Her favorites the penguins! She loves Happy Feet and Surf's up with the penguins, plus since we went later we got to see them feed the penguins and she seemed to enjoy it!
If only she had looked :(
Or done this.. .haha
She was so excited when we got to the play area, she ran all around but everytime she tried to climb on something some kid jumped in front of her and she was like "ugh mom" but she's got a few more patience then me so she dealt with it! lol
I think the slide and play house at the end was her FAVORITE part! I had to convince her to get off the slide by telling her we were going eat! haha
Oh and the Alligator was another favorite!! She has a squicky alligator at home she loves making it "snap" Lily!
this was the end! she was tired and hungry and see how close the fingers are to the mouth!
Give her a penguin...
and alligator...
and gummy bears and she's happy!!!
I've always wanted pictures of me and her and Don in this spot minus the boat, but since it was yucky they came out alright!
Today we haven't done much, she watched A Bug's Life another one of her favorite movies while I cleaned my kitchen. I scrubbed walls, counters, cabinets, table, chairs, everything! All with 2 magic erasers and my kitchen is SPARKLING!!! I love it! I'm about to go buy a case of them at Sam's and do my whole house!!!
Well, I need to go finish cleaning my living room and my bathroom and my house will be done so I can go shopping tomorrow! :D
Well, it's been a while since I've updated! Cheyenne's room is 95% done! All we have left to do is order her TV which hopefully soon we can do so! I need to get the material to make the curtains and valence, and order her rug, and put pictures in her frames! Oh and pay Kate for her canvas! I have 1 blank wall waiting for it! lol
On Sept 17th we went to Texas de Brazil in Baton Rouge and it was amazing! An all you can eat steak place, can't get much better than that. They have the most amazing salad bar with anything you want on it and some amazing lobster bisque! Oh it was so cool and sooooo good. Definitely plan to go back! Just waiting for my 50% off coupon because $60 a person is a little over my budget! haha. They come around with huge rotisserie sticks and had any kind of steak you can imagine or lamb cooked any way. They ask you if you want a piece of it you either say no thank you or you say yes you get your tongs and they slice a piece off and you grab it and put it on your plate. I had lamb for the first time and it wasn't so bad. Here's the only picture of the night!
The little circle on the table that is green, you flip it on green if you want some meat, when you don't you flip it on red and they won't bother you. Cheyenne enjoyed the salad bar!
Kelsey enjoyed her tomatoes!!
Afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble because I really wanted a coffee from Starbuck's. The girls got some as well. "Cheyenne get your kitty". (Just for you Sissy)
On the 27th was Mali's Birthday Party! Hard to believe she is 5 already!! We had a really great time! Cheyenne was scared of the water slide and jumper! She has her moments! haha

Word to the wise, if you forget to buy spoons for cake and ice cream, at least take the ice cream out a few minutes before doing cake so they can soften up, my Princess was not very happy because her ice cream was frozen solid and she only had a fork to eat it with! I had to hold it in the sun a few minutes to melt it! lol
October 3, was Adam Conkey's 24th Birthday! You are greatly Missed Conkinator and I was definitely wishing you were here to celebrate it!!!
That day we went to the Gretna Fest with my mom, Stef, Kelsey, Nanny, and Mali! We had a great time! We let the girls go ride rides, unfortunately they didn't offer the bracelets for ride for 1 price on Saturday's so we just got each of them $20 worth the tickets and when the tickets were gone they were done riding. They were able to ride everything once and use all their tickets! Cheyenne loved it except was sad she couldn't ride the swings and had to sit out!
The girls ready to go ride rides!!
I think the slide was Cheyenne's favorite! She got off and took off for the stairs to go back up! I had to chase her down and get her outta there! lol
Mali got off and said "I'm not riding that again, I almost threw up!" And Kelsey says "I wanna do it again!" I think this picture expresses their feelings exactly!!
My Princess watching them ride from the curb!!
Telling her Nanny she wants to ride the swings!

She ended up getting scared when she fell down the rope climber so I had to go on this with her! Yeah, she never would have been able to finish it, I barely did and I was holding her!

Listening to the Los Lonely Boys and my Princess giving me some sweet kisses!
And some nosey nosey!
Stef and I left to get something to eat and come back and Kelsey was being buried by Mali in mulch. They had the mulch down to cover the mud, well I guess she thought it was sand? Idk. But they all stunk like SHIT when we left! lol

Well, I need to add the Aquarium on here, but I'm tired of moving pictures all the way down and I'm still trying to figure this blogging thing out! So I'll add those later!
Cheyenne has never been "bad" by all means. Even as a baby she has been a blessing. She is OCD like her daddy so she picks up after her self all the time and does a great job! But since the terrible two's things have changed slightly. She fights going to bed or nap which she never used to do. She went with my mom and dad last weekend while we went on a mini vaca to Biloxi, and even my mom said she was out of her "element" I guess you'd say. She just wasn't herself. I blamed it on her being sick, she was being mean, wouldn't listen was always in timeout, and bedtime you can forget it! I let her just fall asleep wherever. Well, at 1:00 I told her "Cheyenne, it's time for a nap, please go pick up your room and get in your bed". She asked for her dora blankey, I went in her room got it out for her, she was picking up I left the room to start fixing me some lunch and went back in there 5 minutes later to find...
and......She cleaned her room!!!!!
Well, I think I've finally got the whole layout thing figured out. But just don't feel like sitting here fixing it all. I got all I wanted done for now. I'll figure out the picture deal later. haha.
Well, for those who don't have facebook, we did Cheyenne's "big girl" room this weekend! I finally get to make her a PINK room! I've longed for this day since she was born and I knew she was a girl! I had to tough it out with the green for 2 1/2 years!
Friday Don thought he could get an appt to the dr at the last minute and when that didn't happen he took a half a day to go do some paper work and we headed to Houma to get the stuff for her room. We started off at Best Buy, then went to Wal-Mart, then to Target. We were TV shopping. Don didn't realize the tv I wanted to get for her room was online only so it was a pointless shop. haha. I got Cheyenne some clothes at Target and the new Mickey Mouse in Wonderland. Then we went to get something to eat because Cheyenne was OMG HUNGRY NOWWW! lol. We ate some Chili's and then I decided to hit up Old Navy for Mali's birthday present since her party is coming up! They had a lot of summer clothes on sale so I got Cheyenne a bunch of stuff since well it doesn't get cold here until Mid Decemeber and sometimes not even then. We went to Lowes to get the paint and some odd end things. Then we went to Wal-Mart in Mathews and decided to get Cheyenne a fish tank. She wanted 3 pink fish. So we got the 3 fish and a snail to clean the tank. We let her pick out everything she wanted to put in their tank. Then we headed home. Don and I had a discussion on the way home about moving the fish from the bag to the tank. I've never owned fish and he has. I have no idea what I'm doing, so we came home I bathed Cheyenne and he hollers while I'm getting her out the tub "These fish are weird theyre swimming upside down". So I go look and notice, they're not swimming, they're dead! They would float to the top and the aereator bubbles would push em down and they'd float back up. Well I started asking him if he read the directions and he said "yeah I fixed the water the right temperature and everything". I call Wal-Mart and they say they will take the fish back. I start reading the directions and you have to put something in the water to kill the chlorine in the tap water. So ah ha! Don was starting painting by then and Cheyenne was asleep in the bed.
Good Bye Green!!!The Final Product! I painted the Shelf! haha. We're just missing her Tv, bedding, curtains, letters, and dresser! And pictures in the frames! lol
Well, this morning I got up a little earlier than normal because once I dropped Cheyenne off at school Brena was coming to pick me up and we were going to Thibodaux for the day. I got Cheyenne up, dressed, brushed her teeth, vitamin, shoes, hair, normal routine. Started heading down the bayou to bring her to school. It takes me about 10 minutes. I'm about half way there and there's a car right up my but. She's really anxious and everytime we get a single line, she swerves around to see if she can pass. Excuse me for doing only 3 over the speed limit. About a mile later I see there's a car turning around in the other lane. Shes facing oncoming traffic. There's a car in front of her trying to turn into the driveway she's in. Well, she just pulls out in front of me, not even 10 feet from behind her and she pulls out. I lock up my brakes and natural instict is to swerve, well bad idea with the bayou on the side, when I swerved and my tires hit the grass, from all the rain I slid and couldnt get it to stop. I was pressing the brake as hard as I could and turning the wheel praying it would just hop back on the road. It didn't. I still felt it sliding and I saw people walking towards my truck. I rolled down the window and hollered "I have a baby in the backseat... get her out please!!" So the lady that happened to be turning into the driveway made it into my backseat first. She was already on the phone with 911. Cheyenne was trying to show her everything in the truck and she was sweet as could be "hi, my name is Heather, what's your name?" and Cheyenne says "Look dora, boots, benny... i watch Strawberry cake" lol. As soon as Cheyenne was out the truck I got out and called Don and Brena because I knew Brena would be passing where I was at to go to my house. I asked her to come get Cheyenne and bring her to school for me. Well, after that I look, the old lady that caused the whole mess, was gone!! She took off! I was pissed. Well about 6 people stopped, there were people everywhere, I had people in every direction asking if I was okay, telling me my front tire was in the bayou, and that I did a good job at getting my truck to stop safely. The cops got there really fast, one cop says "we can get it out like this" the other says "no you're gonna need a tow truck, what towing company do u want?" I said "I don't know I don't what I have to choose from, let's just wait til my boyfriend gets here so he can try to get it out". Brena came to get Cheyenne and brought her to school, then Don got there and tried to move it, it was stuck, so he called his dad to come pull it out. The state trooper showed up and asked all the same questions, he walked to the lawfirm where the lady Heather was going to, where she works to ask her questions and see if she had a description of the car and woman. He came back and said she didn't give him much info but that it was a white cavalier with a gray bumper. He said since she didn't stop and I would have to pay outta pocket for the tow truck that he would allow for someone else to pull it out, but if not theyre normally not allowed to let a family member or someone pull it out. He took down all my information and Cheyennes name and age and everything. Big Don finally got there and he was able to pull it right out. Don got under neath it and looked and everything was fine! We all left and I went home and Brena met me. The cops said "I don't know how you didn't end up in the bayou, you are really just barely hanging on there" the state trooper also told me that next time if my child is properly restrained to just hit them instead of trying to avoid it. Well, to avoid it, I'm not taking that road to bring her to school. I will GLADLY go all the way around!! I am so grateful for all my guardian angels! God was definitely on my side today! I've never been so scared in my life!
Me the picture queen, didn't even think of taking any pictures.
So, that was my morning, all before 9:00!
Came home and calmed down a little bit and Brena and I left. Once the shock wore off I lost it. I could have died, I could have killed my kid, I could have had it a lot worse. I'm so blessed and grateful to be here today and that everything turned out okay!
I can't find where the pictures are that I took, but here's a few from my mom's camera! Unfortuantly you couldnt take pictures during the show, which annoyed me because I wanted some of her watching it and her facial expressions.
This is her waiting to go in! I never got my stinking tickets in the mail so I was picking them up!!
The characters came out, all except for Dora, then all of sudden the "O" opened and Dora was peeking through, I was watching Cheyenne look around for her and when she spotted her, her eyes got big and her mouth popped open she was so surprised! I cried! Made the drive all worth it!!
My Princess and I before the show!
Grandma Dora and Cheyenne being silly!!
The show was really awesome! It's not as good as a Sesame Street show, but still good. She enjoyed it!! That's all that matters!!!
We're in the process of redoing her room! She's getting a zebra print princess room! She kept fighting us going to bed, and saying she didn't like her bed. So we made her crib a big girl bed. It's not made to convert, but we took the rail off and was going to just put pillows down, but when we set the side rail down it was perfect height to make it a "toddler rail" so we tie wrapped it. Hey it works! lol. Once we get back from Biloxi and I get her bedding in I'm going to start painting, then order the bed. We have to sand her toy box down and restain it so it will match the bed, and do the same with the dresser. When I order her bedding I'm ordering her a tv and dvd player so she can have a tv in her room, and wont be taking my living room tv or bedroom tv to watch Dora and the Wiggles.. lol. I think Don's more excited about doing all the tv. He wants me to paint tomorrow so he can go get the tv and put it up! haha.
We're going to move her toybox where her bed is now and put the tv and dvd player above it.
This is her "ghetto" toddler bed! haha
So here's a few pictures of the new bedroom stuff!!
I decided just to order a crib, because I really liked this one and it's a 4 in 1, plus it's cheaper!!
This is the bedding set I'm getting her. I'm ordering the bedding and rug for now. I'm thinking about getting the valence and doing hot pink curtains. Not sure.
This is the tv I'm getting for her room. I don't remember if it's a 32" or 27". IDK.
And of course the pink DVD player! lol
Yesterday I spent about 2 hours on the internet shopping for Christmas for her. I went on Toys R Us' website and found everything I wanted to get her and put it in the "shopping cart". Then I went on the Leapfrog and Step2 website to find out, they had things cheaper and free shipping so I saved like $75. Then googled the 4-wheeler we're looking to get her, and found it for $75 cheaper and free shipping so I save another $150!! So we're going to start ordering stuff next month so it's not all a huge plow in December. Plus Don doesn't get a Christmas bonus so it's easier this way! I can't wait for Christmas. I love Christmas shopping, and day after Christmas shopping. Plus, last year after Christmas I bought a whole bunch of new stuff and can't wait to use it!
Maybe later I'll add pictures of the things we're looking to get her for Christmas. We'll see!
